ストレージシステムにおけるストレージデバイスのアドレス指定可能な容量の合計量．ストレージデバイスのアドレス指定可能な容量は，一般にSCSIまたは同等のプロトコルを介して書込むことができるバイト数であると考えられる．アドレス指定可能でない空間，ECC（誤り訂正符号）データ，再マッピング領域，セクタ間の隙間などは含まれない．参照：theoretical capacity

The sum total amount of addressable capacity of the storage devices in a storage system. The addressable capacity of a storage device is commonly understood to be the number of bytes available to be written via SCSI or equivalent protocol. It does not include unaddressable space, ECC (error correcting code) data, remap areas, inter-sector gaps and so on. See theoretical capacity.
