1.ストレージシステム内のデータオブジェクトの集合。関連メタデータを伴う場合もある。ストレージシステムの主な目的は、データの長期保存および保持である。
2.情報とデータを保護・保管し、特定のコミュニティに対し利用可能にする責任を持つ組織またはシステムのこと。
