ファブリック経由で互いに通信することを許可されたゾーンメンバで構成されるゾーン．ハードゾーンは，送信元および宛先アドレス指定に基づき，所属ゾーンの異なるメンバ同士の通信をフレーム単位で禁止するファブリックスイッチによって実施される．参照: zone, soft zone
A zone consisting of zone members that are permitted to communicate with one another via the fabric. Hard zones are enforced by fabric switches that prohibit communication among members not in the same zone on a frame by frame basis, based on the source and destination addressing.
